Minicamp is designed for campers ages 7-13 who would like to sample the world of residential camping before making an extended commitment. The Junior Unit is the largest unit at Camp Frank A. Day. It consists of 10 Cabins, a basketball court, 2 tetherball courts, a gaga ball pit, a horseshoe pit, picnic tables, Adirondack chairs, a bath house, and its own council ring and fire circle. Over four days and three nights, our attentive CFAD counselors will gently guide your young camper through all the ins and outs of the overnight camp experience.
On the second night of their stay, our staff will also check-in with your camper and discuss with them the option of extending to the end of the week or session. If your child expresses an interest in remaining at camp, we will reach out to discuss this with you.
